A number of the Shoji screens inside the barracks have holes in the paper, leaving to little peepholes into each of the different makeshift clan areas. Throughout the night, the sleepy students may catch a glimpse of something out of the corner of their eyes, what looks to be like a set of bright white eyeballs staring at them through the hole.

Participation: This event is open to any number of participants, and will not break up your sleep. This does not count as a non-mandatory event for the purposes of this rule "Characters may not participate in two non-mandatory events in a row unless the event is not filled after 24 hours from the event posting. "

Rules: Make an Investigation/Perception roll at TN10. If you succeed, you see the eyes and thus can bring it up during day 2. If you fail, you do not catch sight of the eyes.

Special Rule: If you have Lore: Spirit Realms, make a note in the thread that you have the skill.

Something felt off to Kai. Their as-yet-developing shrine keeper senses were tingling.

Kai's eyes opened to catch sight of the eyes peeking through the shoji. Very curious!

Wyn opens his eyes late in the night, only to find someone staring back at him, he blinks but it seems to be gone, frowning he rolls over, sleeping more fitfully.

Ichiro was roused early from his sleep, Zurui curled up next to him burrowed under a pile of furs as his makeshift home. The unicorn boy looked around and through a small hole saw what looked like a white eye before it vanished.

For a moment Yotsuo returns from Yume-do and opens his eyes groggily. As he does so, the eyes staring at him get a return stare. He does not break eye contact until the eyes disappear or he falls asleep again, as if to tell whoever was looking at him that he can see them.

Nobuko's sleep was interrupted more by the shuffling of other students as they moved around the floor and rolled over in their beds than it was by the feeling of someone looking at her. She never even noticed the eyes.

Ginkarasu never really stopped his light snoring as the night went on, though he did roll over fitfully a few times. It seemed like his futon wasn't quite the right size, a foot always finding one side or another to slide onto the cooler floor.

As Mai tries to go back to sleep, she finds her eyes drawn back to the hole in the wall, where she locks on to the eyes peering at her. Instantly, she finds her mind in excrutiating pain, as if something has drained a large portion of her bodies inner energies.
