The New Winds

As darkness sets its cover over the dojo at Hirosaka, the lust for treasure hunting lights up within Kokyou's heart. It was the perfect moment to get a better glimpse of the city, since they only walked in directly to their compounds. Making sure he gets a bunch of merch into his travel pack, the Seed of the Storm makes his way to the outer walls undetected by the monitors.

With a mighty jump, the boy climbs the wall as cat burglar and lands himself at the other side.

"Freedom!" He says with a chuckle.

Now, he only needs to find the merchant stalls to procure his needs.

Kaidan was a little bored in his room and thought that he might go out with out being noticed. He thought he saw a shadow but it might have been his imagination so the young Bayushi climbed the wall with a bit of difficulty when he heard the voice. He kept quiet or else he might get caught sneaking around and for a shinobi in training that might be bad.

Unaware that there was someone trying to follow him, Kokyou keeps following his path to find the market undetected.

It doesn't take long before the students find themselves in the market area of Hirosaka. It is a large ground, all open air with stalls and tents, each offering something diferent, though the primary goods being traded are of an agricultural nature.

Out in the open streets, Kokyou asks around to find a weaponsmith, or a miner with ores for sale, but doesn't really manage to get a proper answer. Angry with himself, he narrows his eyes.

Behind the Mantis boy, Kaidan decided to let himself known. "Why are you looking for ores?" Kaidan wondered

"Ack! Shiver me timbers. Ye slug faced paper-pushin' fartmeister! Ye well-nigh scuttled me in a heart attack. Do nah sneak up behind me like that. I could 'ave punched yer teeth out o' yer lass-looking face." Kokyou curses as he gets surprised.

After a deep breath, he says. "Apologies. Aye. I be lookin' fer ores fer a... a gift."

Kaidan chuckled. "You should pay attention." He looked at the peer. "Maybe you are looking in the wrong places... come on... I think there is a sake house near by where we could get some information."

"I be trainin' t' be a cap'n, nah an onlooker up a mast." He shakes his head and narrows eyes, asking, "Grog? That sounds like trouble, me hearty. Thar must be someone around here that knows about ores. But, if it helps, I be obliged."

If the pair spends some time wandering the market, they will eventually find a merchant who has what they want, but it will take quite a bit of time and keep them both out longer than the timeslot (And thus will need to use the next timeslot to make their return rolls)

"Are you sure you want to keep looking around this place or shouldn't we go back? Tomorrow is another day." Kaidan shrugged. "Unless you want to get caught... or be late for class tomorrow."

Kokyou grins. "Or we can sleep a wee bit more in th' mornin'. Thar are plenty o' students happy t' help wit' th' chores. Wha' ye say?"

He wished his twin was here so he could do the old switcheroo. What's the worse that could happen skip breakfast and get to the dojo... Kaidan you are a sensible man... c'mon... He grinned at the Mantis. "Who said anything about chores... I mean if we are to be the school trouble makers perhaps make the trouble in the school not around it."

He looked at the Kokyou. "I think that is best... perhaps we can find your ores in the school grounds."

"Come on. Ye know 'twill be fun. Let's find these ores 'n then we can get back t' th' school." The Mantis boy sly smile creeps up in a daring offer.

Kaidan purse his lips as he thought about his brother. Pehaps this new guy could be his bro. Besides it was the first day of school what could go wrong. "Sure, let's find you some treasure."
