The New Winds

Asako Sanzo finds himself seated with a number of plates and bowls stuffed with food. A small feast unto itself, the growing Phoenix was certainly not shy about eating, though he makes the painstaking efforts required to observe proper etiquette while enjoying his dinner (and not simply cram his face full of food). His meal consisted of:

• A seaweed salad prepared with fresh cucumber, radish, and yuzu

• Pickled radish, daikon, carrot, and cabbage

• A hearty kombu and shiitake dashi soup

• Roasted eggplant with miso glaze

• Dry-seasoned rice with grilled fish

• Piping hot green tea

Sanzo all-the-while has a pleasant smile while consuming his meal.
