Ichiro hated studying but he also hated losing and he intended to be the best student here. So Ichiro was hunkered down in the library reading books on law and battle history and theory, things that would be necessary for him to learn to best serve his family.
The young Moto boy sat there with a surly look on his face as he trudged through the monotony of just sitting and reading written words on a page. The nuance of story telling in writing were lost on the boy who far preferred stories told rather than read. The words seemed dry and lifeless read off of a page. But for now he endured.
