He nodded.
"You do seem humble." He feared that adding more would be an insult.

[Vutall]

The man lets a small smirk peer through his On before standing slowly and turning his back.

"If there is nothing else, ponder on what I have said today, and think of our game."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He looked almost scared for a moment. He had made not only a Lion, but a rikugunshokan, break their stoicism ever so slightly.
"One more thing, sensei. What is your name?"
Aiichirō was pretty bad at heraldry, yes.

"What did I say earlier? Know what you know, and what you do not. It is no shame to not know something, but instead shameful to act as if you do. My name is Akodo Eiko, Kaiu-san. Thank you for the conversation, and the game."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He listened and nodded, taken aback by the reproach... But he thanked, so he should not be on bad terms. It would be indeed terrifying to get on Eiko's bad terms.
"I thank you first, Akodo-sensei." He took the tabletop and got up from the ground.

"I look forward to more conversation with you, and will be watching your progress."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

Eyes shining. He got Eiko interested on his progress? "Why is that?" Don't fear asking stupid questions, he said.

[Vutall]

"You are the first to seek me out, I now have a vested interest in your progress. Now, please leave me to my practice."

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"At your wish, Akodo-sensei." He nodded one last time and bowed before leaving the room, just in case his past bow did not count.

[Vutall]

The General bows, very shallow, and then returns to his katas.
