Eichiro ponders this for a little bit, he had ideas for serious topics but his thoughts on those were not fully formed. Perhaps something light to ease his mood, the Yasuki would likely play along if only to be entertained himself.

"After a long day of striving for our lord in the dead of summer, which is better. A slightly chilled drink, or a warm one?"

"I contend that a warmed drink is a comfort to keep the fire kami within us burning as the evening becomes colder."

"A warm drink is certainly nice, but nothing can beat the refreshment that comes from having a cool drink after a days hard work. "

"There are so few drinks that can be properly drunk chilled. Take tea as an example, in order to get the flavor just right it must be warm. A chilled tea would be unthinkable."

"Hm, but, too warm of a drink and it burns your mouth, leaving you unable to appreciate its flavors. And, the patience and time required to drink a properly made warm drink, for it to cool down long enough to enjoy it, can deprive one of the instant relief and satisfaction a cool drink can provide."

"The waiting is an essential part of the experience. It gives time to reflect, to consider not only the heat of the drink but also the day that is now behind. With a chilled one, satisfaction may be immediate, but at what cost?"

"There is preparation in a cold drink as well, you have the time to reflect when when you are making it. Hot you must wait while you make it, and then wait for it to cool."

"No rush, no hurry. As someone I respect has probably told me, live in the moment, for you cannot see the future and the past cannot be changed."
