Pulling the reins of his horse along behind him, Kichiro meets his opponent at the starting line. His emotion's far more mute than the passions of his cousin, Kichiro attentively glares at Nijiro with a cold hollow look from his light brown eyes. "An honor to face you cousin. Let us ride out and prove the radiance of the Lion's warrior spirit! We stand not against but united in our glorious demonstration of our clan's pride!" Words to inspire spoken with an unwavering confidence to his voice. A fire in his eyes that hopes to be infectious.

Furiously charging forward through the course, Kichiro breaks off the road and forges his own path through the rough. A risky bet that pays off as he gains massive ground at the start. An advantage that dwindles quickly as his steed loses rhythm towards the flag and back.

With a readied lance the young Lion strikes true against the target and blitzes towards the finish line. His aggression almost proves to be his downfall right at the end as he nearly loses control of the horse. The steed rearing back fighting him attempting to throw him off. "Calm yourself beast! We're nearly there!" He commands and forces it forward to the end.
