Mai bows to the Crab. She had considered wrestling with him before, but in front of so many people. She hoped no one would notice her blushed. She was bowing.

She ignores what the teacher spoke of. Favoring a looser, more responsive stance. She lets out a powerful yell, hoping to throw the Crab of his guard.

Yotsuo similarly bows to the Mantis. Unlike her, he took Hida-sensei's words to heart and tried to emulate what he had stated.

At the same moment that she let out her shout, the Kuni let out one of his own as he postured in a firm stance.

The small girl's shout surprised him and made him wary. Her aggression was more than he had been expecting.

Even in his wariness, the Kuni hoped to catch Mai off guard by beginning on the offensive with haste. He moved in and took hold of her quickly, hoping to use a firmly planted foot behind her own to take her to the ground.

The damage he was taking was not anywhere near able to slow him down, but he didn't mind. He rose once more and charged in for a third time, seeking to take her off her feet, but this latest effort was even more awkward than the previous ones. Likely thrown off a little due to his efforts being frustrated thus far.

Mai is also moving a little slower, but is still quick enough to catch the Crab. She does her best to stop from hurting him him too much. After he gets back up, she bows to him. "Kuni-san. Would you like me to heal your bruises?" She does her best to hide her concern that he may be upset by the lost.
