The New Winds

All of the participants of the Tanuki drinking contest find themselves naked and without any of their belongings inside a small hut on the outskirts of Tsuma. It seems that they have been robbed! Additionally, each of the participants has a pounding headache..

Except...a large pile of coins and a sake cup are next to Aiichiro (5 koku worth of coins and a special Sake Cup that has the following ability:
-Ozeki Brothers Sake Cup
--The person who drinks from this cup does not suffer any negative effects from any substance drank from this cup!

The players belongings are all tied up in a tree outside of the hut. To get them down, a player must pass an Athletics (Climbing) / Agility test, TN 25. Failure of this test means they fall and suffer 1k1 exploding damage.

All participants from the drinking contest suffer a -5 penalty to their rolls on Day 3.

"Damn tanuki, cheeky bastards are what they are. Let me get out things really quick." Haruki effortlessly climbs the tree and gets their things.

Ichiro rubbed his temples and grimaced. He'd had worse but not when he had important things to do during the day.

"Well, at least that will make a hell of a story to tell." He chuckles softly, and grimaces again at the result in his head, "We can always embellish the parts we don't remember."

Haruki is able to climb the tree and untie the sheet with everyone's belongings without trouble.

--All players regain all of their items they had on them. Nothing is missing.

He wakens up and feels the pounding headache even before opening his eyes. He always heard of monster hangovers, but never experienced them personally. He also already heard that he needed water and more or less rest. Aiichiro opens his eyes and the light annoys him, but he gets his hand over where his water bottle should be... And touches his own skin.
What?
He looks over. He was naked. Everyone was naked. Did someone... Rob them or worse? His spine froze. At least there were only boys there, so it was nothing worriable — he already saw some of them at bath houses. Oh wait. There were two girls.
He looks over to the Unicorn. He looks over to Wyn. Both were boys. What?
Aiichiro wished to be able to dunk his head against the ground and resume sleeping, but he already moved too much and others would know he had awaken. He rolls to the side and feels something. Unrolls and sees a coin purse and a cup. "Is this someone's else things, or is it the... Ah, they did promise to give coin and something to who won, so I guess I did?"

Haruki puts on undergarments while in the tree, giving a basic sense of modesty before climbing back down. "Better get dressed quick, we don't know who is here or not."

"Plum wine does not feel like this." Asahi rubbed his head.

He looked around, assessing the situation. "Did you retrieve our possessions, Kaito-sama? Thank you."

Wyn accepts his clothing and items being passed down and frowns, "That doesn't seem like it was tea...if it was I don't want that kind of tea any more."

Ichiro can't help but laugh again as much as his head immediately regrets it, "Certainly neither plum wine nor tea - that is for sure. Though I do not think it was mundane sake either."

"Yeah, the trick with Tanukis are that their glasses make all alcohol have no effect on the drinker. So they always win a drinking contest, regardless of who they face."

"But that's cheating" He looks over at the Phoenix "That is not fair, you can't use magic to rig a contest"

"So... My cup makes me immune to alcohol?" He asks, showing it to Haruki. "That's great! Do you know exactly how it works?"

"No idea, but Tanuki are part of Sakkaku, they intentionally balance their kharma so they reincarnate as an animal over and over again. They don't want to ascend, some of those simply cheat in contests, others do worse."

"It was an interesting experience at least." Asahi had finished dressing.

"That's the one thing you learn about Sakkaku spirits; there's never a boring moment when they appear. I swear the only purpose of that plane is to keep everyone else on their toes."

Ichiro covers his eyes from the sun and nods, "It is an important purpose to have. Even if I may not appreciate the consequences of the way they pursue it."

Sasaiko, out for something to a constitutional, happens upon the lot of them.

Averting her eyes against any of them still in a state of undress, she asks "What has happened?"

Alright. Better to dress up quickly now. He did so.
"So, basically, everyone passed out during a drink contest and woke up here." He replies directly. "It was sakakku spirits."

"Remember when I wrote to you about the accident with the timber on the bridge? That's what happened when I denied to drink with a Tanuki, and I just couldn't let that happen again."

Sasaiko nods, though she is still looking away.

"Are you all well, then?"
