The one dressed in all black moves closer to the Estate, putting a letter under his clothes. He moves as silently as possible, staying to the shadows


Day 4 EN stealth's 1st roll: 9d10o10k4 31

Nijiro is able to stay in the shadows as he looks for a way into the Estate. Unfortunately, the compound is quite well built, and the only two entrances are guarded. One would either need a disguise to get pst the guard at the servant entrance, or a rope and hook to climb a wall

Based on this, Nijiro opens his pack, manuevers for a bit, and alters his clothes so he looks more like the servants entering the side gate

hoping the shroud and other alterations are enough, he moves to get in after a group of servants enter the gate.

As he approaches the servant entrance, a guard stops him and looks closesly at the "servant"

"Awful late to be coming into the estate, what business do you have, peasant?"

Nijiro swallows hard and starts, keeping his head down in respect

"Oh, Samurai sama, my master has asked that I am to go and tell my stories to Akodo Eiko sama. I was told he asked for one who knows of the battle of The First Legion, Second company? It seems he requested this due to having some trouble sleeping the last few nights, and wants some old glory to help him...."

The guard eyes the "servant" a little longer before nodding and stepping aside.

The servant enters the estate, and to keep the story the same, asks a servant or two how to get to Akodo"s guest room

as he walks up to the room, he keeps to the sides, walking as silently as possible

Day 4 EN stealth's 2nd roll: 9d10o10k4 39

There are little guards inside the estate itself, or at least none Nijiro can see. ((You arn't at the room just yet))

He keeps his eyes down, so that he is still a servant, but takes in what he can

There is a guard who patrols the interior, walking first a route on the first floor, and then along the halls in the second story, where the offices and guest rooms are. Currently, the guard is walking up to the second floor.

Nijiro waits until the guard is sufficiently ahead of him ( say, 100 feet of so) before walking slowly up to the second floor, looking for anything that will let him find the room he is seeking

There is a central hallway that the stairway leads into, with the guest rooms and offices branching from that. There is also a balcony, which is where the guard currently is. Eika’s room is the third in the left, from what a servant told you. The guard is currently looking out over the balcony, facing away.

Keeping his eyes focused on the guard, he moves towards Eiko's room, continuing to be quiet, but keeping a watchful eye on the guard."

Nijiro makes his was to the room silently, and by luck or pure instinct manages to maneuver past the nightingale floorboards. The guard seems to be spending quite a bit of time on the balcony, just taking in the night air and the sight of the stars and nearly full moon.

Nijiro enters the room,

he sits near the edge of the tatmi mat , a flame is lit on a candle between him and the Akodo.

In a disguised voice, he says. "Greetings, Son of noble Lion, I was told you may need some assistance?"

The General is asleep, but at hearing the voice, he immediately is up with a knife in his hand.

"What business do you have here, shinobi? Speak quickly before I end your miserable life."

The voice acts calm "Word has spread of the letter. Honorable General. Those who would use such methods might be punished, but only if your allies were to be made aware."

The voice is silent for a moment. "Had this one wished you harm, it would have already be done, yet this one is only here to help, no malice is intended."

Day 4 EN convince the Akodo here to help courtier awareness: 9d10o10k4 38 (ooc, if sincerity would be better, its the same dice pool)

"Who are you? I will not accept aid from one who hides in the shadows as a coward."

"Some do hide in shadows because they are cowards, yet others do to protect the honor of the ones they defend, making a great sacrifice to protect the honor of those in their Clan. consider my words before you ask again if you wish to know who I am,"

A folded piece of paper is slid on the floor in front of the lit candle, when unfolded, it says, in the script of a sensei the Akodo would know:
