Zashi's kimono, while not a complete loss, has telltale mud stains from the soggy streets of Tsuma. It's not what he has in mind for today, and want to impress for tomorrow.
He tries to look in the shops for a nice kimono, hoping that prices outside of the main bazaar are a bit more reasonable.
