[Day 4 EM] Strength is Earned (Open)

People often talked of how Ichiro much be blessed by Bishamon or the blood of Hida in his line but Ichiro knew that his strength was something he worked for not that was given to him. His muscles built by blood sweat and on a rare occasion tears.
He awoke early and got to work running and doing body weight exercises, crunches, push ups, pull ups. He worked out in sturdy functional trousers and no shirt sweat quickly beading on his forehead as he put his all into his daily ritual.

Mirai's own strength was nothing small, but all of her physique was more a necessity rather than any sort of application of free time, at least usually. She still practiced her weapon techniques of course when she could, and she made it a point to take jobs that would help keep her fit.
That morning found her practicing kenjutsu kata for the upcoming test later that day. The ronin girl was most certainly NOT topless, wearing her training gi that she'd worn for the tournament in lieu of any sort of clan or family outfit. That didn't mean she hadn't worked up a sweat, nor did it mean she wasn't giving her all. There was hardly any other choice.
She didn't stare at course as Ichiro did his workout. Staring was rude.

Not on Mantis islands. Even though she wasn't topless, Kokyou is. He is also, staring.
"Jolly mornin'." He says, bowing to her, after having bowed to the dojo's kamiza and sensei.

The nod is returned with smile, "Moto-san, Th' same t' ye." He begins some warm ups as soon as he satisfies his eyes a bit more.

Mirai gave one bow then another as she was addressed. She turned towards each to do so, though she kept her eyes elsewhere. "Kokyou-sama, ohaiyo. Moto-sama, ohaiyo. And yes, I am."

"I do not believe we have met, I am Moto Ichiro." He said bowing appropriately to the ronin girl as he wiped some of the sweat away with a cloth. "You are ronin yes? Interesting to see you at the Topaz."

"He be th' toughest of all. I tell ye." Kokyou says, praising Ichiro since Hirosaka. Looking at him, he interjects the conversation politely, while in the middle of a push up, "Mirai-chan 'ere be a duelist, she said. Are ye nah?"

There was a moment's hesitation before she gave a small nod. "I have some practice at it, hai, though I am not very sure that I'm any one thing. A life of wandering encourages diversification."
