D6EM, Gift-making (Private)

Having asked for fine paper and ink--indeed, sending out a staffer to get the same and compensating therefore--Sasaiko contemplates matters for a while before sitting down to pen a poem. It is a solid, respectable effort (Artisan: Poetry 22 after two Raises for quality applied). And then she makes to copy it in a fair hand, doing a better job with the calligraphy than with the composition (Calligraphy 37 after 1 Raise for quality applied).

Satisfied with the work, Sasaiko sets it aside to dry and seeks to still her mind. She rises from her meditations refreshed (Meditation 32; 1 VP regained).

And I'll have something to present at tonight's gifting, she thinks, looking over the poem on good paper in a fine hand:
Sudden swooping strike
Falling like summer lightning
Stronger, whispering
