ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Due to the now completely water soaked streets, Starting in Late Afternoon and until the rest of the game, all Water spells gain a Free Raise, where all fire spells must have two raises called to be successfully cast. These raises have no other effects.

Additionally, traveling anywhere in Tsuma leaves everyone's feet and lower legs utterly covered in mud

With everyone having passed their Gempuku and having earned enough points to compete in the Championship, the day is a buzz with energy. Such a thing has not happened in some time, and guests all throughout the town of Tsuma speculate on who they think will be the winner.

Once again there were odd happenings around these Hirosaka students. The innkeeper said that late in the night he heard fighting upstairs. He couldn't believe his eyes, but he saw them dispatching several of those hungry ghosts with their fists.

There were a lot of excellent gifts at the feast last night.
Yeah, but did you see the glare Kakita-sama gave both Bayushi-san and Isawa-san? They both said something about children and he got so mad!

There are a lot of strong competitors. I bet Matsu Qiang will be the Topaz Champion.

What about all the water around town making fire spells require a raise for no effect and water spells getting 2 free raises

It doesn't impact Taryu-Jiai as that is taking place outside of the town.
