ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-Please do not make ant threads in the Poisoned Water Sake House after Late Morning, as the location is a mass of rubble, char, and scorched earth

Due to the now completely water soaked streets, Starting in Late Afternoon and until the rest of the game, all Water spells gain a Free Raise, where all fire spells must have two raises called to be successfully cast. These raises have no other effects.

Additionally, traveling anywhere in Tsuma leaves everyone's feet and lower legs utterly covered in mud

The fifth day of the Topaz Championship is much lighter on its tests compared to the previous days, all of which have had some physical test as part of them. Day five brings only mental exercise in the form of the Law test, and then a relaxing (but competitive) games test.

In the Early afternoon, the cleansing of the Poisoned Water Sake House goes wrong, and an explosion rocks the city as the volatile alcohol and other products at the famed location all catch fire when the Shugenja tasked with purifying the place of its uncleanliness from the events of the previous days fight goes wrong. The Shugenja claims that everything was going as expected when suddenly the Fire Kami became much more active than expected and let loose a torrent of fire everywhere. Whispers quickly spread about the elements being unbalanced, which any of the Phoenix guests make sure to not comment on. Luckily, all of the occupants were already out of the location. Unfortunately, because ofthe explosion, fires now are spreading along the streets quickly...

The weather suddenly and inexplicably turns from clear skies and hot to cloudy, with a downpour of rain, and it cools off significantly. The rain continues well into the night (Will clear up during the LN slot)

Rumors:

These students from Hirosaka Dojo work very well together, don't they?

Here at Tsuma, they managed take minimize the damage of the brawl that took place at the sake house. Returned the live stock back to the frog merchant, and also secured good assignments for a family of peasants that just had their parents deceased.

Will they be part of a special Legion together with the Topaz Champion –– I wonder what the Ruby Champion plans for them next?

As long as that Kokyou of the Mantis is with them, don't worry, they'll be put to good use for the Empire

Did you see what happened at the contest yesterday? I didn't even thing that Mantis boy his his opponent that hard at all, but the Akodo really docked him hard for it.

Maybe it was payback to prove a point or something for how the Matsu was treated during Sumai?

I don't think so...There's a big difference between putting someone unconscious and hitting them with a stick.

Oh no. A bunch of Ronin got into a fight at the Sake House and now it's ruined! Poor Soma. He's made that house so wonderful over the years.
