Are the Miya able to distribute historical copies of maps of the Osari Plains, to help ease tension between the Lion and Crane?

I can never say no to the Miya. They're such a treasure.

I picture the Otomo thwarting this secretly.

Same, but I don't want to screw over the Crane too much.

The Osari plains were just southwest of Otosan Uchi, and Kyuden Kakita sat there.

Takuetsu Province, surrounding Kyuden Kakita, but the borders are disputed with the Matsu.

so if im correct, it'd favor the crane?

the blue circles r crane territory right? what r white?

It could favor either side depending on what the maps show. But it would give an Imperially 'correct' border which means tensions will ease (at least for a little while) since neither clan is going to dispute the Emperor's will.

honestly? dont really mind since this allows crane to focus their attention elsewhere and keep the lion off their backs on this

what's right is right, although this would be somewhat counterintuitive to keeping the great clans focused on fighting each other

It's what the Otomo family does. Keeping they occupied.

More easing of tensions = good.

The Miya distribute historical maps of the contested region, which conveniently keeps the current holdings and controls where they already are.

The Crane are quite happy with this, but the Lion grow discontent, stirring up more hostility
