The hour was spent studying her notes from the day before to ensure all points were covered in a polite manner that still held quite a bit of gravitas and implications behind the 'confused' and 'concerned' inquiry to the matter at hand. Wording was very important to avoid a social blunder when she was still very much a child in all legal concerns. She'd have to come back to it following the morning lessons, but when she did, she wanted to be able to focus on the calligraphy involved, not the content.

She wasn't quite sure she had achieved that by the time she was done, but perhaps being more academically sound overall would help her case?
