Guess who's got the mojo?

Haruki ponders on the spiritual training he received yesterday. It was a great ordeal, one which put a schism between him and his guiding ancestor. This needs to be rectified. So he takes some of the mochi he didn't eat yesterday and some sushi as an offering. He conducts the proper ritual to approach the alter, then he prays to his guiding spirit. Hopefully this centers his mind enough to get back into the good graces of his senseis.

Otoko had also gotten an earful from an ancestor the day before. Meditation seemed like the opposite answer for her, since it had been the Void that had caused the schism in the first place, but prayers at an alter seemed much more correct.

Her ancestor was appeased best by bitterness, so she brought a green tea leaf and placed it on the alter for her prayer. She did nothing to interrupt Haruki, before she started or after she finished.
