Himeya's Blessing

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He got slightly hurt by the sparring with Haruki, and didn't manage to get treated in time. Now was the hour. He searched for Asako Himeya. Perhaps she also treated peasants? His Ashigaru would need, for sure.

He approached, holding his hand to his chest, feeling small.

"I was, sensei, and it was not." He bows. "I should have stopped. I had no idea my unarmed blows were that strong."

"The Water kami were able to heal him, so there was no loss of life, so you do not have the death of an innocent on your soul. I take it you are here for me to treat you as well?"

He let himself be bandaged, the first time he was healed without magical intervention. "Thank you, Asako-sensei."

She nods, but says nothing more.

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji had already heard a lot about Asako-Sensei. In fact, he hadn't even needed help from her until today, but today it was different.

When Kenji saw that Aiichiro was just being cared for by Her, he waited in a reasonable distance until the sensei would call him.

"I haven't seen you spar yet, did you get injured somehow?"

Concerned, she looks over Kenji, trying to alleviate her worries that something bad happened. Maybe he fell or another goblin got loose...? Ah, she almost forgot why she came here in the first place

"Um, Asasko sensei, I was wondering if I could get patched up too please."

Himeya looks to Kenji, her eyes full on contemplation.

"Kakita-san, the ability to request assistance of the Kami is not something one calls on lightly, and especially not when their own choices have brought their circumstances."

She looks to Kazuko and begins to bandage her.

"It is one thing to ask the water kami to heal someone of their injuries, but even then I only call on them when other means are not enough. You chose to either stay up later, or to not sleep in.."

[Kakita Kenji]

"I have never needed your blessing before, Asako-sensei. I am aware that the kami are not called lightly. But as I said before, we did not have any normal events last night. If I had been reckless, or had it been my own fault, I wouldn't be asking this favor of you, Asako-sensei."

He bowed to her again.

"You have a point. Very well then, I will ask the water kami to refresh you, but you must take more responsibility for your actions, Kakita-san. Before he ran to the training ground, he stood close to her and gently touched her hand and gave her a warm smile "I just needed a refresher, don't worry" he whispered to her before running to the training ground to fulfill his duty.
