Kokyou was up once again before Lady Sun could greet them. He moves to the bathing area and starts to get those bucket filled up with water from the well and back to the baths to fill up the lined up individual onsens.

He was searching for Kokyou — the task that was given to him today was already completed earlier by some heimin by accident, and as such he was clear to do anything he wanted this morning.

"Jolly mornin' me heartie. How ye be farin'?" Kokyou runs with the bucket and nods to the Kaiu. "Slackin' I see. Good job."

"Not my fault I can actually finish my tasks for the day in time. You are late."

"Late. Har. Haven't ye ever heard perfection takes its time?" He snorts and keeps ruching with dropping the water into the onsen.

"I will arrange a room for us to sumai. You better be there before the hour of the hare if you don't want to count as giving up."

"A cabin? Are ye worried ye'll get too dirty? We shall 'ave the match at the main floor o' the open dojo." Kokyou says dropping an empty bucket at Aiichiro's feet, since he was just talking and not working.

He moves on to fetch more water.

"Bold your tongue, you are talking to one of your cousins, not a crane. It is so no one notice if you have to slack. The challenged party decides where the duel takes place."
He mostly dodged the water, but it still caught a part of his feet. It would dirty both his feet and the dojo floor when he returned now. Stupid Mantis.

"Shiver me timbers. Shiver me timbers. Pick yer galleon. I don't care." He says, disappearing from sight for a moment as he fetches water and then he comes back. "Tryin' t' grow roots standin' thar?"

"It is good to watch others to work when you do nothing." Aiichirō smiled quite maliciously. Not playing nice anymore, although still being somewhat polite. "Go throw it away again now instead of working."

"Throw it away?" Kokyou tilts his head. "I be fillin' up the onsen. Can nah ye see?"

He does just that, again. Kokyou wasn't wasting time at all.

"Strangely, I'm not standing over it. Perhaps you missed by over sixty degrees and three steps. This dojo should take bad eyesight in consideration."

"Those droplets? I threw an empty bucket on yer feet, heartie." In fact, it was empty.

He semiclosed his eyes and continued to watch Kokyou worked, arms crossed.

The Mantis boy starts to sing while working. Visibly taking great joy in doing so –– and by succeeding to bother the Kaiu. His smirk couldn't be grander, while his repeatedly over chanting gets unnerving.

"It's a damn tough life, full o' toil 'n strife, we whalermen undergo,"

"'n we won't give a damn when the gales are done how hard the winds did blow,"

"Fer we be homeward bound from the far southern grounds wit' a good ship taught 'n free,"

"'n we won't give a damn when we drink our rum wit' the gals from ole Ivory."

He frowned, then perceived that he was going things totally opposite to the Kaiu way, and that his anger took the best out of him.
Aiichiro looked down by a second. But no use discussing now, things would be decided by a duel.
He went inside the building complex to look for a room, marking a circle in the middle of it the boys could use for sumai, not knowing if it was done right or whatever.

Kokyou finishes his chores, and, as usual, he leaves additional buckets of water in excess. One never knows when heavy washing is needed.

Then, he moves on to check what Aiichiro was tinkering with.

He left the shoji open. He made a circle out of chalk. It was a nicely drawn circle, but in the incorrect size. Someone would have to wash those tatami later.

"Yarr! Here 'tis then." Kokyou says, removing his kimono top.

Oh, right. Sumai was fought... He pictured a match with kimonos. That was awkward.
