Dodged the wrong way

[Matsu Qiang]

After the morning combat training, Matsu Qiang arrived in the infirmary with a bruised arm and a rueful expression.

"Excuse me, is Asako-sama available?" he asked.

“Hello Matsu-San. The ashigaru still being a bit rough I see. Come, let me look at you.”

[Matsu Qiang]

"It's nothing, really," the young Lion said as he showed the scholar his injured arm, flexing it slightly to demonstrate. "But it pulls a little when I stretch my arm, so I was told to have it looked at."

“I can give you an herbal wrap that can sooth the muscle and help it heal. May I touch you?”

[Matsu Qiang]

Qiang nodded and tried to arrange himself in a way that made it easier for the Asako.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

Also searching for Asako Himeya, he found her treating another student. He bowed and waited by the door.

"This should heal up nicely, Matsu-san."

She then looks to Aiichiro.

"Hello again, Kaiu-san. Do you need my assistance?"

[Matsu Qiang]

Matsu Qiang stretched his arm experimentally. It moved more easily.

"It's much better," the young Lion said, bowing low. "Thank you, Asako-sama."

Stepping aside, he made room for the healer to see Kaiu Aiichiro.

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"I do, Asako-sensei." He gave her a deep bow, then approaching.

"Let me see then. What seems to be injured?"

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

He showed her the injuries marks.

"Hmm, I don't think my normal herbs and bandages would be helpful here. Let me ask the water kami to help you."

He looked slightly less amused this time, already knowing her abilities.
"Thank you, sensei."

[Kakita Kazuko]

Kazuko enters with the same goal her peers had, sporting a few bruises here and there but trying her best to not show the pain. Upon seeing Qiang and Aiichiro, she brightens up considerably, bowing the best she can before talking rapidly about the training that had just happened while Asako puts the herbal wrap on.

"Aiichiro-san, guess what? I just faced against the ashigaru! His name is Takeshi and he... He's a bit odd, but he's really good at combat, but I don't think he's that bad of a guy? I dunno, he didn't hurt me too badly but I couldn't tell if he doesn't like me or not cause I may have taunted him slightly before the training began."

She smiles sheepishly at the last part and would put her hand on her neck if it wasn't currently being wrapped up.

"Oh, no, I didn't mean it like that! He's definitely not evil, just that he is a bit distant and doesn't seem to hate me like Haruki-san suggested. So how did your training go? I didn't get to see."

As she speaks with aiichiro, she pokes at her herbal wrap, slightly curious as to how exactly it'll help heal her.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Anyway, it went fairly average. He landed half his hits on me. Anyway, with what they say about Haruki-san..." He seems uneasy. "I don't think it is good to really hear what he says. Like, I thought he was a chill person, but I heard he did really awful things."

Kazuko raises an eyebrow as she lowers her voice and leans in conspiratorially, waiting to hear what chilling stories Aiichiro has.

"...What did he do? If it's simply rumors you've heard then there's always the possibility that they're false, like with the frogs."

Her eyes unfocus for a second as she reminisces the deliciousness of the frog legs. She has got to get more of them sometime soon, maybe with her friends before they go back to their respective dojos?

[Kaiu Aiichiro]

"There is also that. We could ask him the next time we see him. Like, I see him around everywhere, but rarely stop to talk with him." Aiichirō answered.
"I think we shouldn't crowd this room anyway, more people may need it and think it is full. Where should we go? Maybe just outside? We can return in time to the next hour. It's pretty early. Or at least it feels pretty early." He looks around, stops, and returns his attention to Kazuko.
