[Mai]

Mai paid attention the Lion and followed his instructions. Then, she shot. Well, it wasn't great, but it was OK. It hit the target, if not the part she was aiming for.

She noticed Saburo did better which was a reverse from their first day. He must have been practicing. "Very nice, Asako-san." She felt a little jealous, but overall was actually happy for him.

[Asako Sanzo]

Sanzo half-asleepedly strung his bow and nodded along with the Akodo's speech. When it came time to shoot, the young bushi really had no idea what he was doing. So, he decided to try and imitate what he saw his cousin do, and he actually manages to fire an arrow! It's a decent shot.

[Moto Ichiro]

It was early but Ichiro was ready to get in some more archery training in, he had heard that formal archery training was coming soon and he had figured he would like to go in with a little understanding of how it all works he had taken a day or two off from banging his head on this particular wall but here he was back at it again.

He saw the Lion sensei was here and Ichiro bowed to all present before beginning. He showed a good amount of progress actually managing to score a decent shot on the target. Maybe he had just needed to rest a little to cement his practice.

[Kakita Kenji]

Kenji watched the lion carefully. His movements were extremely graceful in every case and Kenji was impressed.

[Kuni Yotsuo]

The Kuni showed up to the lesson that the Matsu sensei was teaching. He stayed mostly quiet in the background following along with the different kata forms and techniques.

When it came to his turn to show what he could do, it was clear that there wasn't much that he could. This was most definitely not his strong suit. But he put in the effort none-the-less.

The young man seemed content to focus on his training though, his mind sharpened towards his task.

[Bayushi Jiro]

Much like Yotsuo, the Scorpion had shown up because the targets were out. Perhaps unlike Yotsuo, he was here not so much for the sensei as to cram for the test. He addressed himself to the target and lined up his shot.

The arrow clearly had been misinformed about the way. It was a good thing no one was standing downrange.

Frowning, he tried again.

To the same result

Right, good things come in threes...right?

And apparently this was so, for the arrow sailed into the target. Jiro allowed himself a small smile, and then got right back to work.

[Asako Saburo]

As a break between the firing occurred, Saburo went to fetch a couple more targets, putting them out once they were ready for him to do so. He waited until the firing range was clear and set them up before walking back and taking his position again. He added one more than strictly necessary, ensuring that if one more arrived late, they would have enough ready for the practice. Taking his bow up, he bowed to the others, nodding to each in turn and resumed his firing, his actions swift and maintaining the style that he was trying to emulate from the Akodo.

[Iuchi Prashant]

Prashant comes a bit later than the others for some more Archery training - apparently that was a popular choice for the day!

He bows to all of those already training, smiling particularly to some whom he had already spent more time with, and bows especially low to the Sensei. He then takes some time to string a bow for his own training, and starts taking some shots of his own.

He felt... better than the first time, but still a bit unsure. The practice was definitely necessary.
