The New Winds

Kaidan knowing that Kakita sensei was occupied with Jiro. He tried his best to sneak into his room.

Kaiden has no troubles sneaking into the "room", as the sense all seem rather occupied with other matters.

It is just as spartan as the student barracks, a simple tatami mat and futon sectioned off by shoji screens. There is a writing desk and a trunk however to store personal belongings.

Kaidan decided to go to the desk and look at the papers. Trying to asses the sensei's hand writing and his private life.

There is a journal on the writing desk but not much else in the way of papers, scrolls, or parchment. The journal seems to be notes on observations about the students.

He reads the journal, as he wondered what the sensei thinks of the students. He takes a mental note specially of himself.
Not the best method for the young Bayushi.

Unfortunately for Kaiden, there is a lot of observations, so not much is able to stick in his memory.

He place the journal down. Went to search the trunk.

The inside of the truck is full of personal effects such as clothing, some coin, and a few pretty trinkets.

He searches for a false door or a false floor.

The chest does not have a false bottom or secret compartment.

He was tempted to take the journal but he decided not to do it. He took another look at it.

Kaiden is able to memorize the general contents of the observations of the students. Most are doing well and the notes mention that their schools should be proud of them for raising such fine samurai, though there are a few students where the notes say that perhaps the school should consider their training, for they are lacking in many areas that Agasha Sumiko thinks all should know.

He tries his best to place everything in its place. He Hope's that Kakita sensei doesn't notice anything out of place. He makes his exit of the office as quietly as he could.
